4 Thieves Vinegar


- 8 Bay Leaves
- 5 grams of Cloves
- 16 grams of Ceylon Cinnamon Sticks
- 18 grams of Rosemary
- 8 grams of Thyme
- 5 grams of Sage
- 8 grams of Geek or Mediterranean Oregano
- 4 grams of Lavender
- 4 Tbsp of Peppermint
- 48 ounces of Vinegar (Self made Apple Cider Vinegar)


For people who are interested. Here is the 4 Thieves Vinegar I made two weeks ago and I made a 2nd batch this evening. The 4 Thieves Vinegar came about in France during the Black Plague in Europe from 1347 to 1351. The story goes, that 4 thieves were robbing dead bodies and homes during the plague and never got sick. When they finally got caught and were on trial, they were asked how they did it without getting sick. If they shared their secret, they would be set free. They shared their secret and the recipe was written all over towns.

This came rebuild your immune system. You can start using it when you make it, but the more it sits, the better. Minimum 6 to 8 weeks preferable, but you can have it sit for months. You can strain all the herbs and spices at anytime afterward or leave it in the vinegar. I have tasted it and so far we love it!
